Do you use Photoshop Elements 7? Then the Lesson 17: Use the Action Player video tutorial is for you. I love the new Action Player in Photoshop Elements 7. It’s easy to use and allows me to group actions together into sets. (In Photoshop Elements 6 and below, you access actions through the Photo Effects section of the Effects palette. )
To install actions easily and quickly in Photoshop Elements, I use Graffi’s Add-o-Matic tool.
When you use this tool, you can access actions in two ways:
- Under the Add-o-Matic category in the Photo Effects section of the Effects palette.
- Using the Automated Actions/Actions Player in the Guided Edits tab in Photoshop Elements 7.
Add-0-Matic adds a generic thumbnail to all your actions and groups them in an Add-o-Matic category in Photo Effects. If you want to use a different category or use a different thumbnail, you’ll need to install the actions manually. You may also need to rebuild the thumbnail and media databases.
