I’ve just discovered the wonderful world of digital scrapbooking. It’s a natural for me – I love all the creative papers, elements and layouts and it’s fun to puzzle out how to accomplish a special effect.
Two learning resources were immensely helpful:
HP Online Classes – Getting Started with Digital Scrapbooking
This free online class by Tracy Watson covers the basics and is remarkably, clear, concise and comprehensive. You’ll be designing your own papers and elements by the end of this class!
Scrapper’s Guide – Learn Digital Scrapbooking video tutorials
If you prefer video instructions, check out these easy-to-follow videos by Linda Sattgast. There are more than 60 video tutorials on one CD!
Since I’m a complete newbie, I’m starting slowly and just studying how designers create their unique layouts. My first tutorial is on how to use a predesigned quick page in Photoshop Elements.
